Here you will learn about the basic elements of the Coscine user interface.

Dashboard
Immediately after your login, you will be redirected to the Coscine dashboard. Here you will find an overview of all projects to which you have access (see figure 1). Click on a project to switch to the project view.
Menu bar
The menu bar is located vertically on the left-hand side (see Figure 1) and can be expanded and collapsed on every Coscine page. In the menu bar you will find for quick navigation an overview of all projects. When you open a project, you can access the project properties, among other things, via the menu bar.
User profile and logout
In the upper right corner there is a drop-down menu right behind your name (see Figure 1). Click on it to access your user profile or to log out. Clicking on Logout will log you out of the Coscine system. Your session has thus expired. You have been logged out of all tabs at the same time and will need to log in again for further usage of Coscine.
Dark mode (beta version)
Coscine can be used in light mode or (in the beta version) also in dark mode (see Figure 2).
