Projects in Coscine

Any number of projects and sub-projects can be created in Coscine. This leads to a simple and clear structure that corresponds to a tree layout. After accessing the Coscine platform and successfully logging in, all projects and sub-projects to which you belong as a user are displayed.

In order to be able to share (meta)data with others and enable cooperative collaboration, Coscine has a clearly defined role management. New project members can be easily invited, so that collaboration with external project partners is also possible.

Various resource types can be added to projects after creation, such as an RDS web resource. The differences between the respective resource types are explained in more detail in the resources section.
