Owner

Project owners receive their role either automatically by creating a project or by being assigned it by other project owners. Persons with the "Owner" role can only leave a project or downgrade themselves to "Member" once another person has been made "Owner". Projects without at least one person with the "Owner" role are not possible. These people have extensive rights:

• Read Rights

  • Access to all data and metadata of the project at project, resource and file level
  • Downloading files
  • Sharing public download links

• Creation and Editing Rights

  • Create and edit own resources
  • Upload and edit research data and its metadata
  • Archiving resources

• Project Settings

  • Editing the configuration and metadata
  • Managing members and their roles
  • Quota management for individual resources
