Downloading

Downloading files via the Web UI

Downloading files can be done via multiple ways. Depending on your browser and its settings, some file formats will open instead of being downloaded directly. This applies to image formats, for example. You can then download them by saving the images manually.

Click on the file name in the file explorer (listing of files) to trigger the download (see figure 1).

After selecting a file in the file explorer, you have two options to trigger a download.

  • Click on the icon with the three dots and select the download option (see Figure 2).
  • Activate the Download button in the metadata manager (right panel) after you selected a file. The button begins on the right side of the down arrow, which triggers further functions (see figure 3).

Downloading metadata

In resources with storage space (web, S3 and WORM) you can download metadata assigned to your files. Only owners and members of a project can use this function.

Click on ↓ -> Download Metadata next to the Download button in the metadata manager (right panel) after you selected a file (see figure 4). You will get a turtle file which contains your files' metadata (.ttl).

Downloading files via S3 clients

Downloading via S3 clients is possible for S3 storage resources. This is client specific, but typically you need to right click or double click a file.
