The role of Identity and Access Manager (IAM) is held by individuals at each university. They ensure that all ID information relevant to Coscine is transmitted via SSO or RegApp. They require information on registered roles in NRW.

Universities can log in to Coscine via the NFDI RegApp Community AAI. Universities that are already connected to Coscine via SSO can continue to use their SSO login for a transition period of one year.

So that every DH.NRW university can use Coscine including automatic storage space allocation from DataStorage.nrw, the "Affiliation/Type" attribute for the attribute "Affiliation/type of affiliation to the home organisation" (eduPersonScopedAffiliation, OID:1.3.6.1 4.1.5923.1.1.1.9) the information contained in the information "employee@your_university" (e.g. employee@rwth-aachen.de) is required. Without information "employee@", Coscine cannot automatically allocate 100 GB of storage space per project created for employees of a university.

Whether a university already provides the attribute can be checked when logging in under "Affiliation" here: https://login.nfdi4ing.de/.

If a university does not provide the attribute "Affiliation/type of affiliation to the home organisation" attribute (eduPersonScopedAffiliation, OID:1.3.6.1.4.1.5923.1.1.1.9), the respective "Identity Providers" (list see https://tools.aai.dfn.de/entities/) must release the subgroup "employee" for the "Service Provider for federated services at KIT" (entityID: https://bwidm.scc.kit.edu/sp).
