25 %-Extension

An 25 %-extension of an existing and already approved storage space application can be made with just a few clicks.

To request a 25 % storage space extension, at least 75% of the quota already allocated must have been used.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Coscine-JARDS platform, click on Applications, and select the appropriate application track (Web, S3, or WORM).
  2. Log in, preferably via Login (SSO) or, alternatively, via email callback.
  3. Under Your Projects, select the storage space application that has been submitted and already approved.
  4. Click on Short-term resource increase.

  5. Agree to the Conditions
    Form from Coscine to request a short-term increase in project resources. You can see the project ID, must tick a box to indicate your agreement, and can then submit the request by clicking on the ‘submit’ button.

  6. Click on Submit

Allocation of 25 % extended storage space by Quota Admins

  • Quota Admins receive a notification about an 25 % extension request.

  • The request is reviewed (at least 75% of the quota for the project must already be used).

  • After successful review, additional storage space is allocated.

  • You will receive an email notification within a maximum of two weeks confirming or rejecting the increase.
