Resource Types
To manage your research data in Coscine, you must first upload it to or link it with a resource. On this page, you will find an overview of the resource types currently available and guidance on which one is right for your specific use case.
Resources
Each project can include multiple resources. It is also possible to have multiple resource types in one project. For example, a project might include three resources with S3 storage and one resource with a linked GitLab repository.
These resources use various IT services linked to Coscine. They combine the stored research data with its metadata. Some types of resource require storage space, for which can be applied via Coscine-JARDS. Others use external storage space, making it possible to tag all your research data with metadata of your own choosing in one place.

Resource Types
